Americo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Arnau in the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Berdoi came free, but Americo Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Burzaco's Segundo Berdoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Fernado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Americo Fernado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Fausto Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Peruanton hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Americo Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Berdoi in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Hermengildo Firman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Fernado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.

Americo Fernado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Burzaco's Nereo Sesuldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Americo Fernado. That made the score 0-13 after 77 minutes of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of LIONS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Burzaco:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Sesuldo in the 91st minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Arnau succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-16 in the 92nd playminute. Americo Fernado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Arnau in the 97th minute. Club Atlético Burzaco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
