The supporters of Sportlandia FC booed when Villa Pineral - Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Villa Pineral - Caseros's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Cazacu came free, but Clóvis Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Astor Nuno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportlandia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Nuno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clóvis Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Villa Pineral - Caseros's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vlad Cazacu. In the 26th minute Sportlandia FC were awarded a corner. Augusto Azeari went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sportlandia FC's Augusto Azeari to fire away a dangerous shot which Clóvis Reis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fabio Tassotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clóvis Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlad Cazacu in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Sportlandia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Azeari to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Villa Pineral - Caseros's Clóvis Reis got control of the ball when Vlad Cazacu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villa Pineral - Caseros's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Erik in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the Villa Pineral - Caseros defense, Vlad Cazacu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clóvis Reis. The Villa Pineral - Caseros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clóvis Reis should have stopped the shot. Alejandro Endura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa Pineral - Caseros's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Erik in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Paulo Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportlandia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Azeari in the 67th minute. A collision led to Villa Pineral - Caseros getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ladislao Rojelio hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Paulo Marin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Villa Pineral - Caseros's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Cazacu in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Endura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Tassotti was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sportlandia FC had played much better football throughout.
