Lions's Feliberto Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Sand in the 11th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepe Sand couldn't finish the play. Feliberto Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Rafe in the 42nd minute. Ariel Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Harriet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Lions booed when Pucará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Belmonte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48thth minute of the game Diego Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucará's Lautaro Morales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Lions were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pepe Sand to make the kick off. Feliberto Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Sand, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Pueblo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Lions's Melchor Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Pepe Sand sped through Lions's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliberto Harriet. Pucará made a substitution. Faustino Sayveon replaced Ariel Rafe. Feliberto Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Dorio in the 76th minute of play. Feliberto Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Inguma in the 83rd minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Artizar came free, but Feliberto Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Dorio in the 90th minute of play. Pedro Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Harriet having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 郑文霖 to maneuver through the defense. Lions succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pucará had controlled the match.
