Gildas Gasse made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cuarto Imperiale sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Peluca FC booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Lluis in the 15th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Feliberto Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Harriet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Feliberto Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Lions's Melchor Frutos to fire away a dangerous shot which Gildas Gasse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gildas Gasse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Pueblo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gildas Gasse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Pueblo in the 30th minute of the match. Leandro Garrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gildas Gasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Harriet having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Baldomero Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peluca FC the free kick. Gildas Gasse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Pueblo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 49th minute, Diego Pueblo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gildas Gasse. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Pueblo was the one to do the kick off. Gildas Gasse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Diego Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Pueblo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildas Gasse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Quintyn charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Quintyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Quintyn hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Pueblo in the 60th minute of play forced Peluca FC's goalkeeper Gildas Gasse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Pueblo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildas Gasse. Gildas Gasse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Lions's Diego Pueblo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peluca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Feliberto Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Tuste in the 71st minute of the match. Cuarto Imperiale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gildas Gasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Lions's Diego Pueblo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildas Gasse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Peluca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Garrido came free, but Gildas Gasse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Garrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Diego Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gildas Gasse was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The supporters of Peluca FC booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cuarto Imperiale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Cuarto Imperiale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gildas Gasse was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a rather tough play, Peluca FC's Felipe Jago got a free kick in the 97th minute. After some careless play in the Peluca FC defense, Diego Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildas Gasse. The Peluca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildas Gasse should have stopped the shot.
