They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 58 minutes, Adamantios Geronimidis made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Lions's Feliberto Harriet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lions's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adamantios Geronimidis 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Baldomero Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Feliberto Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvis Crespo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Atilano Tonio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliberto Harriet. The goal made the score 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adamantios Geronimidis got free with Feliberto Harriet in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvis Crespo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Feliberto Harriet came out and tried to block the shot, but Elvis Crespo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 77th minute. Fabricio Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Feliberto Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Adamantios Geronimidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliberto Harriet. Adamantios Geronimidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Fabricio Quintana took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Harriet. Feliberto Harriet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10.
