The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Argentina's Pedro Augusto Coutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Avellaneda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Barak Trump reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 温昂义. The goal made the score 1-0. Argentina's 温昂义 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barak Trump in the 37th minute of play. Ubaldo Lluis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rosendo Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Pedro Augusto Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but APOLION's Rosendo Avellaneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Argentina were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after APOLION's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benicio Eder took the corner. After having played for 87 minutes, Matias Jon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Jon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Matias Jon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of APOLION's Rosendo Avellaneda. Rosendo Avellaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
