ArrancaCerebroS AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pucará the free kick. Pucará's Maximiliano González was substituted for Ariel Rafe. After 18 played minutes ArrancaCerebroS AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Frederico. The Pucará fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Pucará's Jose Manuel López looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Dorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ArrancaCerebroS AFC's Pankracy Biegun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Manuel López in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Cordarell came free, but Lautaro Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Belmonte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Pankracy Biegun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
