Zecku's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roald Ahland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, José Paradela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivor Peake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, Zecku's Ivor Peake made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Gustau was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Legio X Eqvestris got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Kimetz. Jairo Sidro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ariel Gustau made a huge save. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Navarro in the 22nd minute of play. Petre Encuțescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legio X Eqvestris's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Cassagne in the 27th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Roald Ahland heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 32nd minute José Paradela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Encuțescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jairo Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zecku's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Gustau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivor Peake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ariel Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roald Ahland in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Zecku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Manilan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Aimar in the 43rd minute of play forced Zecku's goalkeeper Petre Encuțescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivor Peake hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Rocks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Legio X Eqvestris booed when Zecku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Encuțescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roald Ahland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zecku's Petre Encuțescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Navarro in the 60th minute of play. Wilfredo Lazcano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jairo Sidro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zecku's Cássio Rocks got a free kick in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Jairo Sidro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau. Ariel Gustau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, Ricardo Cassagne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legio X Eqvestris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zecku the free kick. A collision led to Legio X Eqvestris getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ricardo Cassagne hit a great ball. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Sidro in the 89th minute of play. Zecku were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Legio X Eqvestris's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Lazcano took the corner. Ivor Peake made a great header on Zecku's corner, it was just that Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Roald Ahland got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Zecku supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Legio X Eqvestris's performance. The match ended with a win for Legio X Eqvestris.
