The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

POMBO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Martínez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fedele Talamo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Talleres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
