An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Lia in the 28th minute of play forced LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Brak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Ieltxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Silvano Lia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wladyslaw Brak having to make a save. Wladyslaw Brak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Lia's late challenge caught a LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Lia helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Björklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Hans Boruphave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gordioro Futbol Club booed when LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wladyslaw Brak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Hans Boruphave managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Boruphave was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wladyslaw Brak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Lia in the 86th minute. Dante Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Marques in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the LIBRIANOS FUTBOL CLUB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
