The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Wilson Calçada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Ieltxu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute of the match Tiburcio Medero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Aztore skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Calçada in the 10th minute of play forced Gordioro Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dante Ieltxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Lia in the 12th minute of the match. Dante Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Ieltxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Uhin in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Weber Bahía Basket's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Lia came free, but Efrain Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Hermengildo Uhin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hermengildo Uhin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Ieltxu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute Urbano Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dante Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Medero in the 30th minute of play forced Weber Bahía Basket's goalkeeper Efrain Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Weber Bahía Basket's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiburcio Medero was slow to take the kick. During this time Gordioro Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gordioro Futbol Club's corner Tiburcio Medero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Efrain Aztore quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Wilson Calçada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Ieltxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Gordioro Futbol Club's Arnaldo Unax got a free kick in the 37th minute. Gordioro Futbol Club's Dante Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Calçada in the 61st minute of play. Dante Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Uhin in the 65th minute of play. Dante Ieltxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Calçada in the 68th minute of the match. Gordioro Futbol Club's Dante Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Bold in the 70th minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
