After a rather tough play, Ongamira's Genaro Vincent got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute Hipolito Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Egun in the 9th minute of play forced Ongamira's goalkeeper Ovidio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ongamira from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Egun in the 17th minute of play. When Jesus Egun came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the TalleresUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Egun couldn't finish the play. TalleresUnited made a substitution. Jesus Casado replaced Jesus Egun. In the 34th minute TalleresUnited were awarded a corner. Jesus Casado went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 40 minutes, Jesus Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TalleresUnited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Tolino came free, but Nestor Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Sebastian Quilino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ongamira's Clodoveo Salvidor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Tolino made a kick off. Clodoveo Salvidor made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TalleresUnited's Sebastian Quilino. Ovidio Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Casado in the 54th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ongamira's Hipolito Tolino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Firmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ongamira's Marcelo Formerio was substituted for Hipolito Tolino. 69 minutes into the match, John Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Cutberto. Ongamira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Formerio got free with Nestor Firmin in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Jacindo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ovidio Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TalleresUnited. In the 85th minute, Joaquin Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 minutes of play, TalleresUnited's Jesus Casado made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Marcelo Formerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Firmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ongamira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TalleresUnited.
