Argentinean Patriots 1816's supporters rose to their feet, but Bello Cura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidio Cutberto came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentinean Patriots 1816's Bello Cura. But to his dismay, Bello Cura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bello Cura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ovidio Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bello Cura, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Bello Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Argentinean Patriots 1816's corner Gualterio Daunte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ovidio Cutberto quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bello Cura in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Cutberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bello Cura, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ongamira's Hector Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bello Cura in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Tolino in the 43rd minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 56th minute of the match, Tobias Azeari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Rio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Isidoro Rio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hector Ganix in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bello Cura in the 72nd minute of play forced Ongamira's goalkeeper Ovidio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ganix in the 75th minute of the match. Ben-Ami Ranchin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pekka Rollins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ovidio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Gualterio Daunte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto did a great save. Argentinean Patriots 1816 were furious when Bernardino Quintin was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 93 played minutes Argentinean Patriots 1816 got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Quintin. When Gerardo Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ongamira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Gabon couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Ongamira's goal looked a bit too open when Bello Cura came free, but Ovidio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ongamira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
