Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Cordarrel in the 25th minute of play. Bello Cura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Gustau having to interfere. Rosendo Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bello Cura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Jacinto Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's Rosendo Gustau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Distribuidora 25 de mayo from getting a goal against them. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaizka Aranguren in the 61st minute.
