When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ovidio Cutberto to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Ongamira's zone, Miguel Ángel Benito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Cutberto came out of the goal and Miguel Ángel Benito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Miguel Ángel Benito sent off a good shot on target. Ovidio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Benito in the 16th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Benitos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Ovidio Cutberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 23 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Ángel Benito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltasar Piorno hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Cutberto. Ongamira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Leonel Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Ganix in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 33rd minute of play forced Ongamira's goalkeeper Ovidio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ongamira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Miguel Ángel Benito scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Cutberto, making the score, 4-0. In the 42nd minute Cascadia United were awarded a corner. Rene Pueblo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Cascadia United's Wang Di Yi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 47 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Iván Pillud. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hipolito Tolino made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Ongamira got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Gabon. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascadia United's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ángel Benito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Ángel Benito scored 5-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Cutberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Ganix's late challenge caught a Cascadia United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Ongamira got a freekick which was hit by Hector Ganix. Ongamira made a substitution. Marcelo Formerio replaced Hipolito Tolino. In the 60th match minute, Ongamira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Ganix to maneuver through the defense. Cascadia United made a substitution. Agustin Bittor replaced Leopold Greve. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Gerardo Gabon with Genaro Havier as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 64 minutes into the match, Ongamira's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Bittor came free, but Ovidio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Di Yi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Bittor in the 69th minute of play. Ovidio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Bittor in the 74th minute of play. Agustin Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Cutberto having to interfere. Cascadia United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Pueblo in the 80th minute. Rene Pueblo made a great header on Cascadia United's corner, it was just that Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto managed to reach the ball for a save. After 83 minutes Ongamira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Pueblo who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Wang Di Yi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 87 minutes into the match, Ongamira's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Benito came free, but Ovidio Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Cascadia United got a corner. Ongamira's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rene Pueblo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rene Pueblo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto did a great save. Leonel Rocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Formerio in the 90th minute. Ovidio Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Bittor in the 91st minute of the match. Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Bittor in the 95th minute of play. Cascadia United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ongamira for a fine match.
