Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Atarrabi in the 6th minute of the match. If Agustin Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes Areco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Irakliy Belov who took care of the corner kick. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Areco FC defense, Benigno Su kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Urtats. The Areco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Urtats should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Cisco in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Urtats, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zeledon Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Su in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Su in the 20th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Frontera AFC got a corner. Areco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Irakliy Belov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frontera AFC's Irakliy Belov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Urtats in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nói Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Frontera AFC's Silvestre Cisco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Urtats. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 36th minute Maximino Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Cisco took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Urtats. Gabriel Urtats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 45th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Gaitán to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Su hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Gaitán to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Atarrabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Frontera AFC's Benigno Su. But to his dismay, Benigno Su quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 59 minutes of play, Frontera AFC's Benigno Su made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Urtats was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frontera AFC made a substitution. Gonzalo Pacifico replaced Celso Betadur. Maximino Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Areco FC's Agustín Rossi threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Kaan Başeğmez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Su in the 67th minute of the match. Ismael Barros made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Frontera AFC's Gonzalo Pacifico. In the 70th minute, Benigno Su left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frontera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Frontera AFC from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Su in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Ali Kaan Başeğmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Agustín Rossi made a huge save. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Atarrabi in the 93rd minute of play. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco in the 96th minute of play. Benigno Su blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Urtats having to make a save. Frontera AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
