With a little luck, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Eugenio Nesto got control of the ball when Teobaldo Phelipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Dave Basso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Pacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brahim Boutabout came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brahim Boutabout in the 26th minute of play. Anibal Abar made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Pascual Pomelin. Eugenio Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavi Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Burutzagi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Anibal Abar in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Leonel Libertad. In the 46th minute Deportivo Pomelo Nenene were awarded a corner. Akamas Farmakis went to the cornerflag to take it. Akamas Farmakis made a great header on Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's corner, it was just that Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 minutes, Anibal Abar made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Eugenio Nesto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Eugenio Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Jurdan in the 53rd minute of play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Leonel Libertad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anibal Abar in the 63 minute of the game. Eugenio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Jurdan in the 66th minute of play. The Cha Fe FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Cha Fe FC's Teobaldo Phelipe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cha Fe FC's Jimeno Atarrabi was substituted for Augusto Jurdan. Cha Fe FC made a substitution. Eduardo Mede replaced Rogelio Ibon. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ciro Tello was substituted for Zacarias Umea. Elvio Pacho made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Dave Basso sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Atarrabi in the 76th minute of play. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Basso in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Dave Basso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Pacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Leon Eguen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Achille Tripodi in the 80 minute of the game. Elvio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Eugenio Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Atarrabi in the 82nd minute of play. Dave Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Pacho having to interfere. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Eugenio Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegoi Griful in the 87th minute of play. Elvio Pacho came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ciro Tello. But to his dismay, Ciro Tello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the referee ended the match the Cha Fe FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
