An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaheen Al Najdi in the 3rd minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sepultura FC's Shaheen Al Najdi. But to his dismay, Shaheen Al Najdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ernesto Santio stood somewhat misplaced when Silvestre Cisco came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 7 minute. Walter Gaitán came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Santio could save by the left post. Silvestre Cisco struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ernesto Santio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. Sepultura FC's Ernesto Santio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sepultura FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Betadur in the 22nd minute of play forced Sepultura FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ernesto Santio managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Frontera AFC's Silvestre Cisco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shaheen Al Najdi came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sepultura FC's Ernesto Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irakliy Belov in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 28th minute of play forced Sepultura FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Santio having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Frontera AFC's Irakliy Belov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Ernesto Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Su in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Julian Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Silvestre Cisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ernesto Santio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sepultura FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Shaheen Al Najdi hit a great ball. Benigno Su came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Santio could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Marcos Rojo got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Indartsu to make the kick off. If Benigno Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sepultura FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Julian Beturian hit a great ball. Agustín Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizinho Mello in the 59th minute. Agustín Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizinho Mello's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ernesto Santio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Irakliy Belov went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Frontera AFC's Gonzalo Pacifico was substituted for Celso Betadur. Ernesto Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Cisco's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Indartsu in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaheen Al Najdi in the 70th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sepultura FC's Ernesto Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Sepultura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Su came free, but Ernesto Santio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Sepultura FC made a substitution. Filiberto Nuxila replaced Julian Beturian. After a rather tough play, Sepultura FC's Filipe Silva got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Silvestre Cisco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sepultura FC's Ernesto Santio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sepultura FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Santio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sepultura FC defense, Silvestre Cisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Santio. The Sepultura FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Santio should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Silvestre Cisco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frontera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Frontera AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
