The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Confederacion Argentina booed when Los Linyeras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Koldobika in the 84th minute of play forced Los Linyeras's goalkeeper Cristobal Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Saul Koldobika ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Felipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
