In the 23rd minute Stasio Tokarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Rodrigo Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Braulio Ospin from a close distance when the talented Primitivo Jeraldo managed to make a qualified save. Palermo AFC's players were relieved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stasio Tokarczyk to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Bautista in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Navarro saved Tetes Titans from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Henry in the 57th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Primitivo Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Tokarczyk in the 63rd minute of the match. Jacinto Navarro was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Rodrigo Bautista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
