When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, GMG's Felipe-Francisco Sena got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lucas Sanson. After 14 minutes GMG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moises Bladi who took care of the corner kick. Mihai Voina kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 20thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Echesortu Football Club's keeper Lucas Sanson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. GMG's Mihai Voina was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Teofilo Claude stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Elija's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Lucas Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihai Voina to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Juan Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Jatsu got free with Teofilo Claude in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Leonides Ihazintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 58th minute, when Echesortu Football Club's Moises Bladi after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Teofilo Claude in GMG's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Mihai Voina might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Sanson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihai Voina ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to GMG getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. José Luis Brown hit a great ball. The supporters of Echesortu Football Club booed when GMG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Juan Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Niceto Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Min in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the GMG defense, Ciro Elija kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Claude. The GMG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Claude should have stopped the shot. Lucas Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Min in the 93rd minute of play. Lucas Sanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Voina, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Echesortu Football Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GMG had won, even though Echesortu Football Club had held more of the ball.
