Jan Malysz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Valentin Gau made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Malysz got free with Valentin Gau in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jaunzuria in the 31st minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Valentin Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes Motu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimiro Bernabel who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute, Hipolito Osmundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Motu were furious when Jairo Orti was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Motu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cañada Juniors:s goal. Motu:s Valentin Gau showed great skill when he stopped Sebastian Jaunzuria:s penalty. Motu's Valentin Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Motu from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Filipo to maneuver through the defense. Cañada Juniors's Jan Malysz got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
