Dario Olando's late challenge caught a Cocoelgrosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Olando helped the player get up and apologised. DON CARMELO IV's Victorio Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Otoniel in the 13th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Favila Gavito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victorio Eder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Raymond Van Beetz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victorio Eder. Clemente Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cocoelgrosos were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after DON CARMELO IV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Favila Gavito took the corner. Cocoelgrosos's Favila Gavito was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victorio Eder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Cocoelgrosos's Clemente Leobardo got control of the ball when Atilano Bonadona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kamika Kazeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Eder having to interfere. Cocoelgrosos's Clemente Leobardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Cocoelgrosos from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Cecilio Otoniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Clemente Leobardo made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Kamika Kazeev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Tabb was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Cocoelgrosos's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Quentin came free, but Clemente Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cocoelgrosos's Cecilio Otoniel got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Marcos Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cecilio Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leopoldo Huly fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DON CARMELO IV's protests and gave Leopoldo Huly a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DON CARMELO IV's Leopoldo Huly got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Cocoelgrosos defense, Nereo Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Leobardo. The Cocoelgrosos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Leobardo should have stopped the shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cocoelgrosos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
