In the 19th minute, Dante Marino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Montana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Marino in the 25th minute of play forced Ferneteros FC's goalkeeper Antonio Montana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferneteros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llavallol FC the free kick. Llavallol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Fiúza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Montana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ferneteros FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Llavallol FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
