Los Gallos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gogo Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jiří Kiss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Defensores de Mar de Ajó were awarded a corner. David Best went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Gallos's Jiří Kiss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Los Gallos from getting a goal against them. Gogo Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jiří Kiss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Baldomero Cisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's goalkeeper Jiří Kiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Elequemedo. After some careless play in the Los Gallos defense, Gogo Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiří Kiss. The Los Gallos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiří Kiss should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Gorria came free, but Kleopas Plouffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiří Kiss came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo. But to his dismay, Gogo Elequemedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 46th minute, Cesar Romildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jiří Kiss was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Elequemedo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Mar de Ajó's zone, Alan Gorria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleopas Plouffe came out of the goal and Alan Gorria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleopas Plouffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Gorria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Gogo Elequemedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jiří Kiss. Jiří Kiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 85th minute of the match. Defensores de Mar de Ajó were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Los Gallos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Best took the corner. The corner ended in David Best almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Gallos's Jiří Kiss did a great save. Cesar Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Defensores de Mar de Ajó were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Gallos for a fine match.
