Braulio Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Albino Oso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquín Ochoa's late challenge caught a Argentino de Banfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquín Ochoa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Leonides Valentine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 96th minute, Lavan Querubin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
