Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejandro Indartsu kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Benedicto Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Gamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Indartsu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Victorio Rumaldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 6 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE got a freekick which was hit by William Sommers. Alejandro Indartsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Rumaldo having to make a save. When Alejandro Indartsu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Salta Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Indartsu couldn't finish the play. Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Gamus in the 10th minute of play. Alejandro Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Victorio Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Salta Futbol Club getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alejandro Indartsu hit a great ball. Jimeno Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Icedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The Salta Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Salta Futbol Club's Alejandro Indartsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Van Denayer hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Evaristo Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Criston took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victorio Rumaldo. INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alejandro Indartsus short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Victorio Rumaldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. INDEPENDIENTE's Victorio Rumaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Gamus to make the kick off. Victorio Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Indartsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Salta Futbol Club's zone, Benedicto Gamus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Teodor came out of the goal and Benedicto Gamus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alejandro Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salta Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Indartsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Rumaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Gonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Gonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. INDEPENDIENTE's Victorio Rumaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Criston in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Salta Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Mede. Victorio Rumaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Indartsu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes INDEPENDIENTE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evaristo Criston who took care of the corner kick. When Flavio Mede came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Salta Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Mede couldn't finish the play. Victorio Rumaldo came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Salta Futbol Club's Alejandro Indartsu. But to his dismay, Alejandro Indartsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Victorio Rumaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Mede in the 94th minute of the match. Salta Futbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
