Victorio Rumaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klement Mnich's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Jaime Icedo lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Anibal Abastas. Victorio Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Klement Mnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Manuelo in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Pinto in the 34th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Victorio Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Manuelo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Rumaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Mnich came free, but Victorio Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Mnich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Poker de Ases ⚜️ made a substitution. Fulgencio Ixaka replaced Jem Kasza. Jaime Icedo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Anibal Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE. 59 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Victorio Rumaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Manuelo. In the 67thth minute of the game Leonides Manuelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE's Victorio Rumaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonides Manuelo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Victorio Rumaldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Poker de Ases ⚜️ booed when INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Icedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Rumaldo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Zeledon Pinto sent off a good shot on target. Poker de Ases ⚜️'s Ariel Lizbeth quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Higinio Macerio, made in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Zeledon Pinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorio Rumaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Klement Mnich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Mnich in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Jaime Icedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INDEPENDIENTE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Zeledon Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Rumaldo having to interfere. Anibal Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Václav Lux, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
