Baldomero Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Gaitano in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Mauricio Fonda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Oihenarte. Sabagasta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Fonda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sabagasta FC's Baldomero Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Fonda in the 15th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Isaias Gaitano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomero Oihenarte. In the 20th minute of the match, Apolo Segio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Gonzales was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs MdP booed when Sabagasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
