In the 21st minute Benito Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Garnero kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Genaro Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Ferdinand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Nuno having to make a save. In the 37th minute Fabricio Txurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Nuno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Ferdinand in the 39th minute. Gilmar Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Millano went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. DE LA SALLE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Niceto Ferdinand scored to the left of an out of position Jesus Nuno, making the score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Hermelando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Supay Puka Huasi FC's Niceto Ferdinand in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 67 minutes DE LA SALLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Boniel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Supay Puka Huasi FC's corner Christian Benet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesus Nuno quite easily take care of the ball. Jesus Nuno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milton Melgar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Niceto Ferdinand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Nuno was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Jesus Nuno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milton Melgar's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Supay Puka Huasi FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
