The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Mattias Wallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the el Tambero F.C defense, Mattias Wallengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Txatxu. The el Tambero F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Txatxu should have stopped the shot. After 14 minutes of play, el Tambero F.C's Teodoro Inge made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Estavan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, el Tambero F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wallengren came free, but Rogelio Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Wallengren struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rogelio Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newell´s. Pedro Blanco thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rogelio Txatxu, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 1-2. Rogelio Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Paul Dybala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The el Tambero F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Mattias Wallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Mattias Wallengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but el Tambero F.C's Rogelio Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ioan Agachi in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Txatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Placido Domiku kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. el Tambero F.C's Rogelio Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Agachi in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Newell´s's Ioan Agachi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Txatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Newell´s fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Newell´s's Mattias Wallengren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ioan Agachi to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Agachi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Teodoro Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Agachi. Ioan Agachi struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rogelio Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newell´s. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ioan Agachi in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Txatxu saved el Tambero F.C from getting behind. Ioan Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Txatxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Wallengren in the 79th minute. Ioan Agachis short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Rogelio Txatxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Newell´s booed when el Tambero F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ioan Agachi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rogelio Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newell´s. Cristobal Estavan came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by el Tambero F.C's Cláudio Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Cláudio Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. With a little luck, el Tambero F.C's Rogelio Txatxu got control of the ball when Indiana Turban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 钱庭振, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The nice shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 95thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rogelio Txatxu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Newell´s's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
