When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Stoicu made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Supay Puka Huasi FC's Damaso Aurken threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milton Melgar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Supay Puka Huasi FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Daniel Garnero hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Milton Melgar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damaso Aurken. LEONES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milton Melgar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Supay Puka Huasi FC's Gilmar Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Guillelmo in the 85th minute of play. If Lázaro Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Niceto Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Supay Puka Huasi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Ferdinand couldn't finish the play. Supay Puka Huasi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
