The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DE LA SALLE's Benito Hermelando got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Hermelando to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Mendez in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Nuno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54thth minute of the game Hernan Mendez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DE LA SALLE's Jesus Nuno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Indios Latinos's Feliberto Cordairo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Nuno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 minutes DE LA SALLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patricio Segio who took care of the corner kick. Patricio Segio made a great header on Indios Latinos's corner, it was just that DE LA SALLE's Jesus Nuno managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Cordairo in the 58th minute of play forced DE LA SALLE's goalkeeper Jesus Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Indios Latinos's Feliberto Cordairo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Nuno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guaberto Millano hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Hernan Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute Indios Latinos were awarded a corner. Patricio Segio went to the cornerflag to take it. Benito Hermelando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Txurio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomas Santikurtz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benito Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Santikurtz having to interfere. Tomas Santikurtz made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Fabricio Txurio sent off a good shot on target. Benito Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tomas Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DE LA SALLE's Jesus Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Cordairo in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of DE LA SALLE booed when Indios Latinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beyhan Zevahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mendez in the 94th minute of play forced DE LA SALLE's goalkeeper Jesus Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the DE LA SALLE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Indios Latinos.
