In the 36th minute, Vicente Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damaso Aurken was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Celedonio Eguen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Belmiro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Aurken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Matheu City FC's Benito Belmiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Damaso Aurken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Isaac Chumo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LEONES's protests and gave Isaac Chumo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Isaac Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Matheu City FC's Eulalio Santio in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Stoicu made a kick off. The LEONES fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matheu City FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
