The audience was convinced that Niceto Ferdinand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Reyes was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Majadita FC's Melquiades Esiquio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilmar Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gilmar Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Majadita FC were awarded a corner. Demis Tzanabetis went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Majadita FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Demis Tzanabetis hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Milton Melgar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Supay Puka Huasi FC's Milton Melgar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Cirilo Oier came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Majadita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Oier couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gilmar Coelho made a huge save. 59 minutes in the game Zacarias Nabar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cirilo Oier. Mauro Izotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gilmar Coelho made a huge save. Milton Melgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Supay Puka Huasi FC booed when Majadita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Eneto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
