In the 9th minute, one of DE LA SALLE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DE LA SALLE. DE LA SALLE:s Jesus Nuno showed great skill when he stopped Lázaro Boniel:s penalty. Lázaro Boniel did an outstanding performance 12 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Jesus Nuno in the goal. When Supay Puka Huasi FC's Milton Melgar in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DE LA SALLE's goalie prevented a goal. Jesus Nuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Melgar, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lázaro Boniel ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th minute, Benito Hermelando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Supay Puka Huasi FC's Milton Melgar in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. DE LA SALLE's Jesus Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Melgar in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milton Melgar made a kick off. Jesus Nuno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milton Melgar in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Supay Puka Huasi FC's Milton Melgar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jesus Nuno. Lázaro Boniel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benito Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gilmar Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Supay Puka Huasi FC got a freekick which was hit by Milton Melgar. 72 minutes into the match, DE LA SALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Melgar came free, but Jesus Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Milton Melgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milton Melgar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Nuno having to make a save. In the 78th minute Milton Melgar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Nuno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Daniel Garnero took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Jesus Nuno to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Supay Puka Huasi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DE LA SALLE throughout the match.
