With an all-out effort, Majadita FC's Ryszard Kaczanek threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cirilo Oier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Ryszard Kaczanek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 11 minutes into the game, Mauro Izotz lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ryszard Kaczanek. Ryszard Kaczanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Izotz in the 14th minute of the match. Marek Sprengels hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ryszard Kaczanek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Honrio in the 35th minute of play forced Majadita FC's goalkeeper Federico Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Kaczanek came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Majadita FC's Cirilo Oier. But to his dismay, Cirilo Oier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 42nd minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Bierhoff made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors fc's Leo Lartaun got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Cirilo Oier notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek. Ryszard Kaczanek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Federico Reyes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute Mauro Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Izotz took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryszard Kaczanek. Ryszard Kaczanek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ryszard Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Boca Juniors fc got a freekick which was hit by Roque Panfilo. In the 82nd minute, Demis Tzanabetis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Izotz in the 84th minute of play forced Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Kaczanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Izotz in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Melquiades Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Majadita FC's Mauro Izotz in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors fc's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Mauro Izotz put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ryszard Kaczanek. There was no doubt that Majadita FC were the better team. Majadita FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
