In the last second Rogelio Txatxu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Benito Belmiro in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Matheu City FC's Benito Belmiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogelio Txatxu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Cavalcante came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Belmiro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Txatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Belmiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogelio Txatxu could save by the left post. Matheu City FC's Benito Belmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Cavalcante in the 41st minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
