Arnoldo Diagur went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Basilio Ayala heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Lin Yi in the 24th minute of play forced Poca Vida F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelios Kopanaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Diagur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Egoi in the 30th minute of play. Stelios Kopanaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Vistruario in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Arnoldo Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poca Vida F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Diagur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelios Kopanaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Elivareo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Calvino got free with Maximiliano Eliazar in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
