Tobias Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rolando Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Leoncio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Odon was slow to take the kick. During this time PGE FC's players had a chance to rest. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Elequemedo in the 21st minute of play. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after PGE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ovidio Benat took the corner. Celestino Froila made a great header on LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s corner, it was just that PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo managed to reach the ball for a save. Rolando Merexildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Leoiar in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Leoncio saved LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. from getting behind. PGE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mauro Odon in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Odon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rigoberto Leoncio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Odon was slow to take the kick. During this time PGE FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on PGE FC's corner Mauro Odon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rigoberto Leoncio quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tobias Elequemedo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Larpe was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Odon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PGE FC's zone, Celestino Froila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Merexildo came out of the goal and Celestino Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute of the match, Tobias Elequemedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Merexildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute, Valentin Gaizko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Leoncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Larpe in the 55th minute of the match. Tobias Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rolando Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match PGE FC got a corner. LOS CAVERNÍCOLAS S.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Odon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honorio Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rolando Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
