After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Federico Girotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgestone FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Girotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Best Castray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute Federico Girotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Castray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Best Castray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Girotti in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Juan Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Belmiro in the 22nd minute of play forced Bridgestone FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Girotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Best Castray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, ARGIES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Montes to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ARGIES defense, Eduardo Da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Best Castray. The ARGIES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Best Castray should have stopped the shot. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match ARGIES got a corner. Bridgestone FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Arnalt ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ARGIES's corner Justino Lizar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emiliano Martínez quite easily take care of the ball. ARGIES's Best Castray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Girotti in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Braulio Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Castray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Qwinton in the 40th minute of play forced ARGIES's goalkeeper Best Castray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Peio might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Peio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Juan Pueblo made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Bridgestone FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After the first half ARGIES were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Girotti to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Girotti in the 51st minute of play forced ARGIES's goalkeeper Best Castray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bridgestone FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ARGIES were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Bridgestone FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Arnalt took the corner. ARGIES's Pierre-Antoine Naudon was substituted for Feliciano Belmiro. Best Castray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Eduardo Da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Best Castray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eduardo Da Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Castray having to make a save. With a little luck, Bridgestone FC's Emiliano Martínez got control of the ball when Juan Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Qwinton in the 90th minute of play forced ARGIES's goalkeeper Best Castray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Pueblo in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ARGIES's zone, Federico Girotti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Best Castray came out of the goal and Federico Girotti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
