The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natalio Pacorro came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Los del sur F. C's Donato Eladio. But to his dismay, Donato Eladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Los del sur F. C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Melquiades Garaona 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, EL RUSSO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Eladio came free, but Natalio Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Polyakov made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los del sur F. C's Eugenio Puja. In the 25th match minute, EL RUSSO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Polyakov to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Prusek scored 3-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Frascuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Gaztea Valensuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL RUSSO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 42nd minute David Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 44th minute of play forced Los del sur F. C's goalkeeper Mariano Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Los del sur F. C's goalkeeper Mariano Frascuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Jaraczeski. The throw-in from Igor Polyakov in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los del sur F. C's Haroldo Filipo. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Eladio was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Prusek in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, EL RUSSO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Marzoli to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Eladio got free with Natalio Pacorro in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Boruc Jaraczeski made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Frascuelo. Los del sur F. C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 61 minutes into the match, Los del sur F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Garaona came free, but Mariano Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Donato Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Los del sur F. C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Eladio couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Los del sur F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Garaona came free, but Mariano Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Jaraczeski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los del sur F. C's Mariano Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 76th minute of play. Mariano Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Prusek, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 87 minutes into the game, EL RUSSO FC's Boruc Jaraczeski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Frascuelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Los del sur F. C's Mariano Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 92nd minute of play. Mariano Frascuelo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by EL RUSSO FC's Melquiades Garaona. But to his dismay, Melquiades Garaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. EL RUSSO FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
