With an all-out effort, ARGIES's Natalio Pacorro threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fan Zhan Zheng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 5th minute, Melquiades Garaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL RUSSO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Melquiades Garaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Castray having to make a save. Pierre-Antoine Naudons short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Natalio Pacorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 16th minute EL RUSSO FC were awarded a corner. Carlos Caton went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Carlos Caton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ARGIES's Best Castray did a great save. If Gaztea Valensuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Pacorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Antoine Naudon in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, EL RUSSO FC's Carlos Caton got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre-Antoine Naudon got free with Natalio Pacorro in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Best Castray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaztea Valensuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, EL RUSSO FC's Natalio Pacorro got control of the ball when Pierre-Antoine Naudon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, ARGIES's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Prusek came free, but Best Castray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes ARGIES got a freekick which was hit by Fan Zhan Zheng. Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Garaona in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olgierd Prusek to strike the kick off in the second half. EL RUSSO FC's Natalio Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Zhan Zheng in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, EL RUSSO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fan Zhan Zheng came free, but Natalio Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre-Antoine Naudon in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Pacorro saved EL RUSSO FC from getting behind. Best Castray made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gaztea Valensuela sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, EL RUSSO FC's Olgierd Prusek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Best Castray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fan Zhan Zheng in the 63rd minute of play forced EL RUSSO FC's goalkeeper Natalio Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes EL RUSSO FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaztea Valensuela. Boruc Jaraczeski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Best Castray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ARGIES's Eduardo Arnalt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvio Marzoli, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Jaraczeski in the 74th minute of the match. Natalio Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Zhan Zheng in the 76th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Segundo Stephen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Best Castray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute, Olgierd Prusek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Best Castray. The goal made the score 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. EL RUSSO FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
