The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Johans got free with Duarte de Sena in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 10 in the game by Felix Johans from a close distance when the talented Duarte de Sena managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's players were relieved. Felix Johans in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Duarte de Sena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Hinkler in the 12th minute of play forced Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goalkeeper Duarte de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Stroia having to interfere. Mihail Stroia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Marino in the 19th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Victor Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sentimiento Auriazul's Mihail Stroia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihail Stroia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Felix Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Duarte de Sena made a huge save. Jaime Frechoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sentimiento Auriazul's Felix Johans got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Sentimiento Auriazul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Mel to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, Club Atlético Ituzaingó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Johans to make the kick off. Duarte de Sena came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sentimiento Auriazul's Santos Gergori. But to his dismay, Santos Gergori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Hinkler in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Jaime Frechoso took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mihail Stroia to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Club Atlético Ituzaingó booed when Sentimiento Auriazul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Behe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ramon Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihail Stroia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Sentimiento Auriazul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético Ituzaingó's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético Ituzaingó.
