The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerardo Ferdinand succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Gerardo Ferdinand succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 7th playminute. Abasto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Mitxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Barrealito booed when Abasto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Colmano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Abasto FC's Saul Nabar got control of the ball when Cătălin Lițu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Ferdinand succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Luiz Fernando Debruyne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Saul Nabar made a huge save. If Gerardo Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th match minute, Abasto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Henry to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Ferdinand got free with Saul Nabar in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match Barrealito got a corner. Abasto FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edu Goh ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cătălin Lițu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Saul Nabar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 35th play minutes Cătălin Lițu shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Saul Nabar and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Ferdinand in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Nabar saved Abasto FC from getting behind. The corner ended in Edu Goh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abasto FC's Saul Nabar did a great save. 46 minutes into the match, Barrealito's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Laurgain came free, but Raimundo Ezkerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Laurgain to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Edu Goh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrealito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu Goh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Lena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Nabar came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrealito's Cătălin Lițu. But to his dismay, Cătălin Lițu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Saul Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Lena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zé Lena came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Barrealito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Lena couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Abasto FC's Santos Laurgain got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Zé Lena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrealito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Lena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Ferdinand came free, but Saul Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes Abasto FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Ramone. Saul Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Lena, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Barrealito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edu Goh in the 89th minute. Barrealito's Gerardo Ferdinand was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saul Nabar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 93 minutes, Aquilino Milio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abasto FC and the Barrealito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Abasto FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Milio. Barrealito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
