Apolo Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Ladislao Oliveiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Islas Malvinas Argentinas from getting a goal against them. In the 28th match minute, La gloriosa número 6 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Arotza might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karsten Jersov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Arotza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Delmiro Arotza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karsten Jersov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Camilo Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karsten Jersov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Arotza in the 38th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Arotza to make the kick off. Ladislao Oliveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milivoj Mrkić in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Arotza got free with Karsten Jersov in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, La gloriosa número 6's Marco Ilixo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Karsten Jersov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Delmiro Arotza. In the 90th minute, Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Ermegildo Ovando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Islas Malvinas Argentinas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La gloriosa número 6.
