Cristian Lucchetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Silvino in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Laurgain came free, but Cristian Lucchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Nuñez having to interfere. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Roldan in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Nuñez saved ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ from getting behind. Rosario Central's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İlyas Özkılıc in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Burmeister in the 27th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Cristian Lucchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Hugo Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Lucchetti. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Roldan in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Nuñez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jörn Näver hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Pelayo got free with Cristian Lucchetti in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cristian Lucchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Rosario Central's Cristian Lucchetti got control of the ball when Emanuel Pelayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Valentinos Dedes came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentinos Dedes couldn't finish the play.
