The ViCeNzA fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when ViCeNzA's Long Stora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Long Stora was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 50 minutes into the game, when Gualterio Nesto put in a rough tackle. In the 51st match minute, Club Sportivo Dock Sud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Nesto to maneuver through the defense. Long Stora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teodoro Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Dock Sud's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Flores came free, but Emanuel Salbatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
