In the 11thth minute of the game Elias Roldan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Federigo. If Tostão de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Tostão de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Burmeister in the 33rd minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Cristian Lucchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite this Cristian Lucchetti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Pelayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İlyas Özkılıc ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rosario Central's İlyas Özkılıc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose Nuñez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Lucchetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Pelayo in the 59th minute of the match. When ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Emanuel Pelayo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rosario Central's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
