Spectators: 7765 (Terracing: 5825, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Damaso Sancho made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Iaki came free, but Marcial Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Dagoberto Neila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Marcial Estavan managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Sancho got free with Marcial Estavan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Dagoberto Neila made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petre Traian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Congo Bongo's Froilan Iaki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcial Estavan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Meng Qiang Liang in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Traian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Dagoberto Neila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Traian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Sancho in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Dagoberto Neila made a precise shot to the right of Petre Traian. Congo Bongo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 45th minute Froilan Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Sancho got free with Marcial Estavan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Warnes to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Estavan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sergio Austin. The Congo Bongo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were winning 2-3.

Froilan Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Estavan having to interfere. Kjell Hök hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Omar Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Traian having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Iaki in the 68th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Congo Bongo made a substitution. Arnaldo Oidor replaced Damaso Sancho. Congo Bongo's Laureano Acuña was substituted for Sergio Austin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Iratze in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 79th minute Froilan Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Froilan Iaki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Congo Bongo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Dagoberto Neila took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Petre Traian to make any attempt to save it. 92 minutes into the match, Herminio Iratze notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Congo Bongo's Petre Traian. Petre Traian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Oidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded INDEPENDIENTE F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Congo Bongo.
